The Variax 600 is an iconic, early 00's digital modelling guitar made at a time of great technological optimism, which many think were ahead of their time. Instead of using traditional magnetic pickups, the variax uses six Piezo saddles inside it's custom bridge, which is then used as the basis for an extensive array of digital emulations, including alternate tunings and 25+ popular electric/acoustic guitars. 

While this type of modelling guitar may be gimmicky for some, it truly represents a unique slice of musical instrument history, from a time where digital modelling sat at the cutting edge of technology. This particuar guitar plays very well following a recent set-up, and would be great as an experimental tool, or as a collectors piece.
