Overview
Allow us to unveil this little hidden gem of the '90s: The Alvarez AE40 Classic Deluxe. This electric guitar is adding a little bit of spice with it's slightly squared S-style body. Beyond the looks, this little number feels remarkably like a modern Ibanez or adjacent. The neck has a thin, flat profile making it a stand out choice for those who like to play the whole fretboard.
Unlike other Alvarez electric guitars from this family, the AE40 features only one tone and volume knob, reducing load on the circuit. The result is a little more clarity through the amp when the tone knob is dimmed. The hardtail bridge also transfers energy straight through the alder body, leaving you with a noticeably tighter low-end response.
