Sell or trade your gear
We buy guitars, amps, pedals, synths and more. Bring it in while we’re open. You don’t need to book.

Bring your ID
Bring one primary government-issued photo ID, like a driver’s licence or passport. Also bring a secondary ID, like a Medicare card. Together they need to add up to 100 points.
We’re a licensed second-hand dealer. So the law asks us to check ID for every buy, trade or donation.
How it works

Bring it in
Come to the shop with your gear and your ID. Bring the case, power supply and any papers too.

We check and test it
We look it over and test it. Then a manager makes you an offer.

Choose how you get paid
Take the money by bank transfer on the spot. Or take store credit, or a voucher for a service or future stock. You can also put it towards something in the shop. Store credit gets you more than cash. We love doing trades.

Questions
Do I need to book?
No. Come in any time we’re open. Each item takes us at least 10 to 15 minutes to check, so earlier in the day is best.
Can I sell over the phone?
No. We need to see and test your gear in person before we can buy it. But you’re welcome to call us with questions first.
Can I send photos first?
Yes, please do. Photos help us tell you if it’s something we want. We can’t give you a price from photos. We make offers in the shop.
How much will I get?
We make you an offer once we’ve checked and tested your gear in the shop. Every offer is free, and you don’t have to sell.
Can you value my gear if I don’t want to sell it?
No, sorry. We only price gear we’re buying. Free online price guides can give you an idea.
Can I donate gear?
Yes, we take donations. The law says we must do the same paperwork as a buy. So please bring your ID for a donation too.
Can I sell on consignment?
Only now and then, usually for higher-priced gear. Our techs check it first. Any service it needs comes out of your payout. If you take it back before it sells, you pay for that service. Ask us in the shop.
