Shipping policy

Domestic shipping prices are as stated below and are all sent through Australia Post or our chosen courier (larger items over 105cm in length or 20kg). We do not ship internationally at this stage. Store pickup is also available at checkout for our local customers! 

Please place your order before 12pm for same day dispatch on weekdays for most small-medium size items. Larger items ie. amps, guitars and other instruments will generally take more time and care to package and therefore may not be dispatched on the same day as order.

Small and medium items sent in post bags are covered for loss and damage of up to $100. More information on insurance for small and medium items from Australia post as follows: “Unless required by law, we do not accept liability for late delivery or any consequential or indirect loss or damage. If your parcel is lost or damaged, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable. Notwithstanding our limitation of liability, you may have additional rights under applicable laws, including the Australian Consumer Law.” 

Large items are insured for the value of the item. All insurance costs are included in the shipping price. 

We test each item before it leaves the shop and will let you know if there is any significant damage or issues present that are not stated on the website. We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused after the item leaves Southside Guitars. For more information on returns see our refund policy.
