This G-55A Classical Guitar is a gorgeous vintage number, with a lush resonance and very warm tonal character. These guitars are fantastic mid-range classicals that are well known for sounding great when mic'd up. This one is in decent condition with a bit of cosmetic wear (see pictures), and has recently been serviced by our technical team.
Based on the serial number, this particular guitar was manufactured in late April, 1973 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This means it was manufactured in the final 6 month period of this model's production! Instruments from this era are highly valued for their matured wood, which gives them a distinct, vibrant, and warm sonic character compared to newer entry-level classical guitars.
