The Yamaha CBX-K3 is a solid, gig-ready 49-key MIDI controller with a reputation for excellent key feel and a sturdier build than many modern budget controllers. It keeps things simple and dependable for controlling rack modules, sequencers, and studio rigs, with velocity sensitivity and classic performance controls. If you want “proper MIDI” without USB fuss, the CBX-K3 is a sharp, old-school choice.
