Important Information
The 1975 Suzuki M-218 Bowl-Back Mandolin is a beautifully crafted Japanese instrument featuring a carved spruce top and traditional multi-rib bowl back that produces the bright, ringing tone associated with classic Neapolitan mandolins. Its ornate rosette, floating bridge and elegant sunburst finish reflect the detailed workmanship that Suzuki instruments from this era are known for.
Built during the mid-1970s when Japanese makers were gaining international recognition for their quality string instruments, the M-218 remains a charming and highly playable vintage mandolin.
