Overview
As an entry-level model, this affordable flute is designed with a unique headjoint that pursues ease of play suitable for this class. By adopting a silver headjoint, it provides moderate resistance and quick response. It is also the first Pearl flute for many people and is a global bestseller.
The flute features aesthetically pleasing pointed arms, enhancing durability. You can choose between covered keys and ring keys, with additional model variations available with or without the E mechanism. The E mechanism makes it easier to produce the third octave E, which is typically considered difficult to play.
The Quantz 665-series flute has a sterling silver headjoint. This produces a warm sound and a rich overtone spectrum. The body and mechanism are made of nickel silver, and these parts are silver plated, giving the flute a brilliant shine while also protecting the material from corrosion. This flute features the a Largo headjoint.
