One of 489 made in 1970, the Maton C45 Classical is lovely, resonant and warm guitar that has been crafted with quality Australian tonewoods. Comprising of a solid spruce top, with Queensland Maple back and sides, the C45 certainly has that special touch and tone, to boot.
Built in the Segovia style, the nut provides generous yet comfortable string spacing, making the C45 a stand out choice for finger-style players. Overall, the tone is super harmonic and charming, akin to many Spanish made classical guitars.
This C45 had an undersaddle piezo pickup installed in the '90s, with volume knob accessible through the soundhole.
