Based on the iconic Intersound IVP rack preamp and its delightful “Tube Sound” circuit that uses transformer saturation rather than an actual tube (and also does not sound anything like a tube), this pared-down pedal adaptation forgoes the clean signal path and parametric EQ of the original to bring you its unique distortion in a more reasonable footprint. 

This has a very wide frequency response, so it is perfect for synths and other audio devices as well.

• Drive: The amount of gain being fed to the transformer. This has a higher gain than the original, so you don't need an external booster to get it super saturated.
• Bass & Treble: A Baxandall EQ centered at around 700Hz
• Low: A gyrator EQ band at 90Hz
• Low-mid: A gyrator EQ band at 400Hz
• High-mid: A gyrator EQ band at 2khz
• High: A gyrator eq band at 5.5khz
