Digicarrie Designs Choker Chain Gated Distrotion Effects Pedal

The Choker Chain is a gated distortion like no other! And yes, I said distortion, not fuzz (it is not a fuzz). It changes the biasing of the op-amp distortion stage to gate the signal in a beautifully violent way, followed by the uncommon Bone Ray tone controls, and then finally into a reverse-beta transistor saturation stage.

• There is no subtle setting with this pedal; it does not clean up with your volume knob, it is aggressive at every setting in the best way! And it takes pedals very well!
• Drive: sets the amount of gain. Pretty standard stuff.
• Gate: the higher the Gate, the more the bias voltage is shifted, and the more gated it becomes! 
• Choke: the amount of volts the pedal is running on. The pedal may turn off if this is too low, but if you get it in just the right position, you can get cool glitchy octave sounds!
  Tilt: a tilt EQ, turn one way for more bass, the other for more treble. This interacts HEAVILY with the mid control.
• Mid: less of an actual mid boost, and more of a mid contour control. Has a very strange and interesting sweep. If you turn the Tilt to maximum treble and the mid to about 95%, it is almost a flat frequency response. Weird...
• Vol: It's a volume control. It controls the volume.
