Digicarrie Designs Blast Radius Dual Fuzz & Wavefolder Effects Pedal

The Blast Radius is a dual fuzz/wavefolder-ish designed for crushing chords and walls-of-sound. The left side is based on an opamp Big Muff, but with different clipping diodes and a centre-flat tone knob (no annoying mid scoop!). The right side is a wavefolder/crossover distortion type thing, similar to the Tim Escobedo Tripple Fuzz. Whatever it actually is, what it does is add a bunch of interesting harmonic overtones to your sound that come through regardless of what is placed after it. What this means is it basically functions as a "Little More Fuzz" pedal that adds just a little more distortion to whatever its going into. Cant seem to squeeze any more gain out of your rig? This fixes that.

Controls

Vol: the volume control for the fuzz side

Tone: flat response tilt EQ for the fuzz side

Fuzz: the amount of fuzz for the fuzz side

Out: the volume for the wavefolding side

Soft: this increases the clipping threshold of the output diodes, essentially adding or removing more clipping

Cross: this determines the amount of gain going into the wavefolder/crossover. At a certain point, the signal will square off and wont fold anymore, so if you find there aren't enough harmonics being created it may be that you need to turn this down.
