The Darkglass Microtubes 500v2 is a 500-watt class-D bass amplifier head packed in a compact, tour-ready format. Featuring Darkglass’s signature dual Microtubes distortion engine, a one-knob VCA compressor, 6-band graphic EQ, and selectable cabinet simulation with USB-loaded IRs, it’s designed for pro bassists who demand both punch and precision, whether on stage, in the studio, or direct-to-console.

  • 500 W RMS output (at 4 Ω) with Class D power module; supports speaker loads down to 2 Ω. 
  • Analog solid-state preamp with the “Microtubes Engine”: features Toggle for B3K or Vintage voicing, Drive, Blend, Tone, and Compressor controls. 
  • Integrated Studio-grade 6-band graphic EQ (Bass, Mids ×4 bands, Treble) for detailed tone shaping.
  • Cabinet simulation with 3 user-loadable IR slots via USB; selectable via “Cab Select” switch. 
  • Balanced XLR DI output (with ground lift) for direct recording or PA feed; headphone output & aux input for practice. 
  • Stereo/dual speaker outputs: ¼″ or Speakon-combination outputs for flexible connection to bass cabinets.
