This classic Japanese-made 1998 Bill Lawrence Trigger-II Telecaster Electric Guitar in Sunburst was crafted by Bill Lawrence. An accomplished jazz guitarist in the '50s-'60s, he then went on to make custom shop guitars in America and then mentored Larry Dimarzio, who then went on to make the famous Dimarzio pickups.

The 1998 Bill Lawrence Trigger‑II Telecaster in Black offers bright, responsive tone from its ash body, maple neck, and Black Label T1 and T2 pickups. It suits players who want classic Tele twang with improved playability and punch.
