VASE (Victory Audiophonic Sound Equipment) is a historic, and now revived, Brisbane-based amp maker, renowned since the late 1950s for hand-crafted valve guitar and bass amplifiers like the Trendsetter and Dynabass heads, with around 5,000 units built to order by founder Tony Troughton. After ceasing production in the late 1970s, the brand was relaunched in the 2010s by Harry Lloyd‑Williams, continuing the tradition of precise, hand-wired valve amps built locally in Brisbane.
