Armstrong

Armstrong Flutes was founded in 1931 by William Teasdale Armstrong in Elkhart, Indiana, beginning as a small flute repair shop before evolving into a respected manufacturer. In the 1970s, Armstrong collaborated with British flute maker Albert Cooper to develop a new flute scale, leading to the creation of models like the 102, 103 and 104, which featured improved intonation and design. Armstrong continues to produce student and intermediate flutes known for their durability, playability, and quality craftsmanship.
