Overview
Lovingly handcrafted by Brisbanite Louis Whelan, The Protostar II is the very first guitar he designed. He almost retired the Protostar all together but we are so glad it's made a return for this special entirely salvaged/scrap native timber build.
This one features a fantastic pair of pickups including a JM shaped Curtis Novak ’63 Mosrite reissue in the neck, and a raw nickel P-90 from Madlove in the bridge. Controlled by my all time favourite knob and 4-way rotary switch (for parallel and series options).
Finished in satin nitro with an Amber/Walnut tint, and paired with a back painted gold pickguard. Light, resonant and well balanced, Louis is super happy with how this one came out!

Shipping. Free standard shipping Australia-wide on orders over $199 and under 5kg, with an express option at checkout for most items. Guitars over A$2,000 ship free by courier to Qld, NSW, Vic, ACT and Tas, and half price to SA, WA and NT.
7-day change-of-mind returns. From the day you receive it, on new and preloved gear. It must come back as you received it. A 20% restocking fee applies, and you pay return postage.
