The Shin-Ei Companion Exciter ME-7 is ideal for adventurous guitarists and collectors looking for a quirky, vintage multi-effect pedal that delivers expressive volume, wah, surf, hurricane, and siren effects via an analogue foot pedal. It feels wonderfully tactile and reactive with every sweep and switch dial in a world of unusual sounds.

This particular item has been modified to include a 6.35mm output; however, there is no hole removed from the chassis to access it.

  • Multi-effect expression pedal: Wah, Volume, Surf (white-noise surf sound), Hurricane (rich noise sweep), plus a dedicated Siren button for unique tone textures
  • Foot-operated selector dial on the side for switching between Volume → Surf → Hurricane → Wah; Siren engaged via separate stomp switch 
  • Reverse‑style wah: heel‑down = treble, toe‑down = bass sweep, unlike standard wah voicing
  • Passive, battery‑powered (9 V) with heavy metal cast-all construction and classic vintage Japanese aesthetic
  • Second-hand, in fair condition with some cosmetic wear as shown.
