The 1972 Rickenbacker 4001 in Fireglo is a rare and collectible masterpiece, cherished for its bound maple body, dazzling checkered binding, and eye-catching Fireglo finish. It delivers that unmistakable punchy and melodic Rickenbacker tone, thanks to its toaster pickups and long 33‑inch scale, making it a standout choice for discerning bassists and collectors alike.

This legendary bass has been wielded by some of rock’s most influential players, including Paul McCartney, Chris Squire, John Entwistle, Geddy Lee, and Lemmy Kilmister, cementing its status as a titan of electric bass history.

This guitar has been modified so the tailpiece sits further into the body to maintain the playability and originality of the instrument.
