Grab a piece of Japanese guitar history with this 1980's Quest Atak 1. Known at the time as the 'melting strat', these guitars were some of the earlier models manufactured by the revered wood-carvers-turned-luthiers at the legendary Matsumoko factory in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan. This particular model is a hardtail, string thu body guitar with an all maple neck, a sanded back mahogany body, and characteristic hi-fi style knobs.
This guitar has clearly been modified, although the model of pickups is unknown. The branding has also been removed from the headstock by a prior owner, but rest assured this is 100% the original neck!
This guitar has recently been fully serviced and restrung by our tech team. Don't hesitate to come and play it in-store.
