During the 1990s explosion of Japanese rock bands, Luna Sea embraced the guitar brand/musical artist collabs. The GrassRoots G-I-48LP III Purple Luna Sea INORAN model was a budget/entry-level option at the time, under the ESP/Edwards umbrella.
The purple burst is certainly an eye-catching and rather dreamy feature. With a single-cut Les Paul-style body shape, collectors of this guitar note that it sounds and feels like a Strat. The neck is relatively slim and comfortable. The alder body also makes the guitar lightweight; A great choice for teenagers or beginners.
Swapping out the traditional two humbucker configuration of a traditional Les Paul, the G-I-48LP III features an SSH pickup configuration. You can expect Strat-style snappy, glassy, and crisp tones, with enough punch for face-melting leads.
