Overview
The Danelectro Wild Thing is a brilliantly eccentric guitar, delivering a quirky yet addictive blend of jangly twang and warm low-ends. Reissued by Danelectro and an essential for enthusiasts, the Wild Thing started life as a prototype called the 'Swept Wing'. Featuring the iconic Lipstick pickups and hardboard body first thrown together by Nathan Daniel in 1947, along with a groovy and eye-catchingly unusual twist of design.
This model was prototyped in the mid-1960s in Neptune, NJ, and is one of Danelectro's funkiest body shapes!
