Important Information
The 1973 Fender Jazz Bass is a USA-made classic from the CBS era, featuring a solid ash body, maple neck with block inlays, and the fast, articulate feel that made the Jazz Bass a studio and stage staple. This example has been professionally upgraded with Aguilar AG 4J HC pickups and an Obsidian Wire Jazz harness, delivering powerful, noise free tone while retaining the instrument’s vintage character.
Early 1970s Jazz Basses are increasingly sought after for their distinctive ash bodies, bold aesthetics and unmistakable Fender tone, and well-maintained examples with tasteful upgrades like this are especially prized by players and collectors.
