Important Information
The 1969 Martin D-18 is a vintage dreadnought acoustic guitar built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Known for its balanced tone and clear projection, it remains one of Martin’s most revered designs from the late 1960s.
As one of the final D-18s produced before major material and construction changes in the early 1970s, this model is highly sought after by collectors and players alike. Its combination of Brazilian rosewood components, pre-70s build quality, and enduring tonal character make it a rare and desirable piece of Martin history.
