Collection: Tannoy

Tannoy is a British loudspeaker company founded in 1926 by Guy R. Fountain, originally as the Tulsemere Manufacturing Company; it changed its name to Tannoy in 1928. They’re famous for inventing the “Dual Concentric” driver in 1947, which places a tweeter behind the centre of a bass/medium cone, allowing more coherent, point-source sound and wide dispersion.  The brand makes home hi-fi speakers, studio monitors, PA systems, and installation loudspeakers, and has long been respected for build quality, accuracy, and being used in pro recording studios.
