Collection: Recording King

Recording King is a heritage guitar brand that originated in the 1930s as a house label for Montgomery Ward, with instruments often crafted by Gibson and other notable builders. Revived in 2007 by The Music Link Corporation, the brand now offers vintage-inspired acoustic guitars, resonators, banjos, and lap steels, designed in the U.S. and manufactured overseas. Their popular Dirty 30s series captures prewar aesthetics and tone, while higher-end models like the Tonewood Reserve series feature solid tonewoods and torrefied tops for enhanced resonance.
