Mesa/Boogie

Mesa/Boogie is an American amplifier manufacturer founded in 1969 by Randall Smith in Petaluma, California, originally modifying Fender amps to increase gain. Over time, Mesa/Boogie pioneered boutique high-gain amp design (notably the Mark series) and later introduced its flagship Rectifier line, which became iconic in rock, metal, and progressive genres. Mesa/Boogie continues to produce high-end tube amplifiers, combos, cabinets, and pedals while emphasising tone innovation and craftsmanship.
