Magnum is a guitar brand active from the 1970s to mid‑90s, initially importing Japanese-made Strat‑ and Les Paul-style instruments and later outsourcing production to Cort, Samick, and Ibanez factories. Known for offering surprisingly solid build and tone for budget-friendly prices, some models even rivalled mid‑range guitars of the era. Today, they’re niche vintage finds, mostly copies with decent playability when set up properly.
