Alesis
Alesis, founded in 1984 by MXR co-founder Keith Barr in Hollywood, California, revolutionised music production by making professional-grade gear accessible to home studios. Their innovations, like the MIDIverb, the first affordable 16-bit digital effects processor, and the ADAT digital multitrack recorder, transformed recording practices in the 1980s and 90s. Alesis continues to offer a wide range of electronic drums, MIDI controllers, and recording equipment, empowering musicians at every level to create and perform with cutting-edge tools.
