Chrome St Fiesta 2026: Here’s What’s Happening At Southside Guitars

The countdown is on for one of our favourite events of the year - the Chrome St Fiesta! Salisbury is about to get a whole lot louder, and we’re right in the thick of it, celebrating local creatives and businesses that make this urban backstreet hum its catchy tune!

Southside Guitars has a few party tricks for this year’s line-up, so mark it on your calendars for a full-day of music, arts and creative chaos. Here’s what we have planned:

Extended Hours

We’re making the most of the festivities by staying open late! We’ll be open from 9am to 8:30pm, giving you plenty of time to browse our collection or chat with the team.

Pop-Up Jam Space & Open Mic

Between 3pm and 5pm, we’re transforming the area in front of our new workshop into a dedicated pop-up jam space and open-mic zone. We’ll be joined by a crew of talented local musicians and teachers to keep the energy high.

We are stoked to announce our confirmed artists for the day:

Talia McNaught

Keenen

Our Open Mic is completely inclusive and accessible to everyone. We encourage guitarists of all skill levels to jump in. Don’t be shy, it’s all about having a go, learning a few riffs, and enjoying the music together. Sign-up for your spot at the Southside Guitars front desk.

Supporting Local Music

Our involvement doesn't stop at our front door! We are proud to be supplying the backline for the music events happening over at the Food Connect Shed. They have an incredible day of performances planned, so stay tuned for their full line-up announcement.
