Built in 1967 . Designed by Masahiro Matsui. He had previously traveled to Toyko and studied the Mosrite guitar . He took detailed notes , and that week he and another Tokai designer sketched out the the initial designs . The 100S had a smaller body than the other Humming Birds but had a thicker neck than the others. This one is 100% original, including real gold foil pick-ups, and it works great. Has had a recent set-up.
