Maton BB1200 Semi Hollow Guitar
Vincent BarrasShare
This all-Australian Maton is a fantastic and versatile semi-hollow guitar. Able to produce excellent tones for warm jazz, blues, country, and all the way to overdriven treble bleeding desert rock. This model of guitar would later be turned into Josh Hommes' Signature guitar, with the key difference being a trapeze-style tail bridge, inlays, and different pickups.
Spec-wise wise the body is constructed from Queensland Maple and a Rock Maple cap, Rock maple with a Set Neck construction, Rosewood neck, and Mations MBB1 Bad Boy pickups.
Second-hand. As for the condition, it's been played and gigged with pretty thoroughly. The paint has faded on the back of the neck, which is pretty cool because you get to see what areas the previous owner had used a lot. The paints also faded on the back of the body.
