Hall of Fame: GT Guitar Technology Status Series Semi-Hollowbody 335-Style Electric Guitar in Iced Tea Burst
Vincent BarrasShare
The GT Guitar Technology Status Series Hollowbody Electric Guitar is a Korean-made set-neck 335-style semi-hollowbody that is a wonderful choice for beginners and lovers of blues, country, indie, and rock. This guitar has fantastic versatility. It has enough clarity for clean chord work and enough punch for driven leads. The neck is comfortable and fast, making it equally suited to rhythm comping and expressive soloing.
Guitar Technology is a relatively unknown and underbranded brand. It was started in the late 80s to early 90s by Trevor Wilkinson, who had a lifelong fascination with guitar design. Trevor then famously went on to start Wilkinson Hardware that pioneered contemporary guitar hardware, especially with innovations like the Wilkinson Brass Roller Bridge.
