This instrument has nice low action and plays very well. Quite a woody, percussive tone. Anyone wanting to experiment with unique timbres will find a unique instrument in this traditional Bass VI. If you play heavier music and enjoy down tuning this should also be on your radar, it's setup in E standard one octave below regular guitar tuning. D'addario offer alternative Bass VI sets so that if you wanted to go to D Standard this gets very chunky, very quickly.

Would also highly recommend for Beatles fans, chuck a set of flatwound strings on for genuine Abbey Road goodness.
