Pigtronix Attack Sustain Compressor

The Attack Sustain by Pigtronix, precursor to the Philosopher's Tone, acts primarily as a compressor with additional inbuilt features for further effect. The centre footswitch, Engage, activates compression and sustain, and marks only the beginning for what is possible with this effects pedal. The Attack Sustain by Pigtronix is a versatile and interactive product, sensitive to the player’s style and able to be adapted accordingly.

From the left footswitch you can activate Attack, presenting swelling sounds with control over sensitivity. An LED allows you to monitor release, and an additional side-chain input allows for an external trigger to be added. From the right, control the Decay, with blend and harmonics able to be adapted to your liking. A small but mighty High Boost switch is nestled up by the control knobs to the right, helping to lift and clarify high end tones.

The Attack Sustain by Pigtronix has been used by Lejandra Deheza (School of Seven Bells), Jonathan Silverman (Grandfather) and Gustavo Cerati (Fricción).
This pedal is suitable for a variety of different genres including but not limited to, rock, pop, indie, metal and new wave.
