One of the more obscure vintage Mosrite guitars from the early 1970s was the Model 300. This could have been Semie Moseley's twist on combining a Fender Telecaster with a Gibson SG / Les Paul. It’s a cool guitar that sounds and plays great – More playable than most old vintage Mosrite guitars and a great fit for the Sidejack family of Mosrite tribute guitars from Eastwood!
While many of the oddball vintage guitars we collectors tend to love and lust after are not as pricey as the more typical vintage Fenders and Gibsons, the fit and finish, quality and control and playability is often subpar at best. The nice thing that Eastwood does with their affordable line of tribute and inspired by guitars is make sure that they have the playability any contemporary guitar player can feel comfortable with.
